How to deal with the washing and hardening of sweaters?
Sweaters can be said to be the single product with the highest utilization rate in autumn and winter. No matter the north or south, no matter what the temperature, who doesn’t have a few sweaters in their autumn/winter wardrobe! So, what should I do if the sweater becomes hard after washing?
1. Immerse all the sweater in warm water at 30℃-50℃, or steam it in a pot for 20 minutes, let it slowly recover its shape, and then put it in cold water to shape.
2. Pour warm water into the washbasin, drip in a small amount of Amonia water, and then immerse the sweater completely, the soap ingredients left on the wool thread will melt. Gently stretch the reduced part with both hands at the same time, and then rinse it to dry. When it’s half dry, use your hand to pull it apart to make the original shape.
3. Reshape the original shape and iron it with an iron to restore the original size. Put the steam iron about two centimeters above the clothes with one hand to let the steam soften the fibers, and then use the other hand to shape the sweater. Just use both hands together, and the sweater will return to its original tighter fiber state.
4. When the sweater is usually aired, in order to prevent the sweater from getting bigger and longer, it is best to flatten the sweater, or open the umbrella and dry it directly.
